About Mrs. Tedone

This will be my twelfth year as a classroom teacher. I am originally from Williamsville, NY (a suburb of Buffalo).

I began teaching in 2002-03 in Wellsville, NY, where I taught 2nd Grade for five years and earned my graduate degree in K-12 Literacy.

After relocating to North Carolina in 2007, I taught 4th Grade at Lakeshore Elementary for 2 1/2 years and obtained my AIG Licensure. I joined the CMS Talent Development Department in December 2009. The 2013-14 school year will be my fourth year at Davidson Elementary.

I live in Mooresville with my husband and two sons, Benjamin Oliver (age 3) and Charlie Elliott (1 1/2). We share our house with two cats, one dog, and one pet fish. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crossword puzzles, working in my vegetable garden, and watching movies.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year with our fabulous Davidson Elementary students!

About Mrs. Walters

I am originally from Mequon, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee) but have been in North Carolina for 15 years!

I attended UNC-Charlotte to work on my undergraduate degree in elementary education. I also met my wonderful husband, Josh, there. Josh and I have two children-Jack, 3 years old, and Sam, 5 months old

I began my teaching career in 5th grade at Cornelius Elementary. During my fourth year there I earned an additional licensure in Gifted Education. The next year I decided it was time to put that knowledge to use and transferred to Iredell County to be a gifted facilitator. I worked at Lakeshore Elementary for 3 years as the AIG facilitator and testing coordinator. During my time there I also earned my Master's degree and my National Board certification. In 2009 I returned to CMS as a TD teacher and this year I am at River Oaks Academy and Davidson Elementary.
